Ansah Memorial Foundation is looking to hire a short-term archivist/historian who will gather material on PAVA for archival purposes. The work will involve retrieving original documents from boxes, scanning and converting them into readable files and developing a referencing system for them. This is a short-term project that can be completed in a month. It will also require correspondence with organizations and institutions that may have some PAVA materials.
Required skills:
- Impeccable writing skills
- An interest in journalism, mass media communications and media excellence
- An eye for detail and excellent proofreading skills
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of Adobe PDF documentation
- Touch-typing skills (minimum 60 w.p.m)
- Willingness to learn and proactiveness in getting results
- An interest in PAVA, or willinglness to learn about him is a definite plus
