Our client
Adexen Agency Services Ghana Ltd. is mandated by a multinational mining company to recruit an HR Officer for its operations in Ghana. The position is based in Accra.

Job description
The HR Officer will be responsible for the preparation of work permits for expatriate workers of the company, coordinate travelling arrangements for expatriates and local staff and set up accommodation arrangements for local staff. He/ She will liaise with external agencies such as the Immigration Service and the Ministry of Interior to ease preparation of expatriate documents. The HR Officer will report to the HR Manager
The position is based in Accra.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this office shall include but is not limited to the following:
Handling visas and resident permits of expatriates and local Staff
In-charge of expatriate’s immigration documents
Overseeing the management of vehicles and supervision of Staff attached to the Transport department
Handling registration of vehicles etc.
Making/Coordinating traveling arrangements for expatriate and local staff
Liaising with external agencies like the Ghana Immigration, Foreign Affairs, Embassies, Ministry of Interior etc.
In charge of staff housing and accommodation search
Assist expatriate staffing settling in and at departure
Assist expatriate staff with all necessary steps for acquiring work permit, compliance with the local legislation of etc.
Managing of company guest houses
Setup accommodation arrangement for company visitors.
In charge of office Management activities
Coordinating and managing multiple priorities and tasks
Performing general office duties including the scheduling of meetings and appointments
Work in collaboration with HR Manager to manage dealing with a wide range of human resource issues.
Report on regular basis to HR Manager (activity report)
Responsible for the implementation and ongoing maintenance of all office policies and procedures
Qualifications et experience
A tertiary qualification in a Business field relevant to the position or its equivalent from a recognized institution
Well developed oral and written communication skills (English proficiency) and the ability to interact with people of diverse cultures and levels
3 years minimum work experience in a similar role
Knowledge of relevant legislation, immigration and codes of practice
Strong analytical, negotiation, interpersonal and organizational skills
Be self-reliant, self-driven, results oriented and pay attention to detail
Experience in HR will be an added advantage
Capable of prioritizing and managing his/her time and work load effectively
Proficiency in the application of Microsoft Office Suite with good Excel, Powerpont and Word skills
Be willing and able to travel between operations whenever necessary
Have an established network of contacts in job-related areas
